Memorial Day…
Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service. Please keep in mind that freedom is, and never will
be free. Thank you to all the men and women who have served in our armed forces and who are currently on active duty. Without you, our nation would not be what it is today! Enjoy this Memorial Day but remember why it is celebrated…
Thank you again! God Bless…
Take care of yourself…
As Summer approaches, remember to treat your skin equally as good as you treat the rest of your healthy body! Checkout this link to read up on SPF and how you can better prepare yourself for the sun.
ATTA BOY!!!
Great job and a big ATTA BOY goes out to Davis for his performance last night!!! Davis started his World Camp training not long ago and without the ability to preform 1 single pull up. Well, last night we set out to tackle 100! The rule was that for every time Davis came off the bar,he had to sprint 200 meters and go until he reached his goal of 100. Below is the breakdown…
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
110%
Training is not "social hour"… Training is tough, you will sweat, your heart will feel as if it is about to beat out of your chest, you may possibly even bleed; however, you will survive and leave feeling accomplished. In order to get better you must push yourself to the outer most limits! Find the place where you can't seem to get enough air, where your muscles burn as if acid has been poured on them and you will know what it's like to be better… Give 110%, 100% of the time!

Career Day!
Today I had the opportunity to go and talk to the 3rd-5th graders at Lee County Elementary school about my career as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach. I had a blast and the kids seemed to be having a little fun as well! You never know, World Camp Fitness just might have a new batch of trainers on the way! Well, 2020 that is, after they are finished with High School, College and have gotten their Certification from a Nationally accredited organization… Thank you to Mrs. Rooks for demonstrating all those squats!!!
Learning the Clean & Jerk on Mothers Day
The Clean is one of the most explosive and scalable athletic training moves to date, although it is rarely used in the typical box gym or "Personal Training" gym. This exercise allows the athlete to develop power and strength as he or she can handle more load. Check out this Sunday's Albany Herald for instructions on how to preform the Clean & Jerk. My fitness column is located in section "A".
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!
Thank you to all of the mothers out there for caring. Thank you for all the time spent in the kitchens, the carpool lines and the sewing machines. This is your day MOM, enjoy it!
The Human Tire Pull?

This a funny post workout video of Jay and Pace getting a little extra work in thanks to Augusta! Who says you can't have a little fun? Thanks for putting in so much effort each day! See you all next week!
If you're going to do it, do it right!
Make sure never to sacrifice form for weight or time. Executing correct form and full range of motion will improve skills and power because you are allowing your body to recruit all available muscle fiber for a particular movement. Remember that speed will come with practice and training! Do not try to skip steps… Like the old saying goes, "If you can't find time to do it right the first time; how will you ever find time to do it right the second?"
