I want you to notice the different angles of the back on these 3 movements. In the Front Squat, the torso is in a more vertical position while the High Bar Squat is slightly angled and the Low Bar Squat even more so… No matter what Squat you are performing, the bar is to travel up and down the mid-line and stay in line with the mid-foot.

(World Camp June 2008)
World Camp Fitness, LLC was founded in June of 2008 on the principle of not specializing in anything but excel in everything. We had one trainer (myself), 800 square feet of workout space and a hand full of equipment. There were many days of 15+ one-on-one training sessions until the point of matching like ability athletes together. Now as I unlock the door each day to our 4,000 sq. ft. facility, I am humbled… Who knows what the future holds?
(A few guys warming up the shoulders before the workout)
Have you heard the one about "how many World Campers does it take to change a tire?"
Teamwork is the capability to comprehend and recognize the diverse strengths and abilities in a group setting and then applying them to one final solution. By it's definition, that is exactly what we do here at World Camp! Like minded individuals coming together with a common goal, to achieve a better fitness level. Do you have any thoughts on this topic? Post to comments!
We will be starting another 30 Day Challenge in April! This time it's a TEAM challenge! Are you up for it?

Yalda and I went to the CrossFit Gymnastics Cert this weekend and had a BLAST! Jeff Tucker is the man! Needless to say, we will be getting some time on the rings in the near future!

(Kyle Maynard in the Clean and Jerk event @ 185#)
To date, the best excuses that I have heard for why people are not able to workout range anywhere from "I don't have time" to "I have a bad back or my knees bother me". Every once in a while I will get the ole "My doctor says to not do…" Well, how about "I have no feeling in the lower half of my body because of being run over by a car!" or maybe you could use Kyle Maynard's "I have no arms or legs!" I have had the absolute pleasure of knowing both Trebor Marble from CrossFit Valdosta and Kyle Maynard of No Excuses CrossFit for a little while now but, this past weekend I was able to see them both compete along side able bodied men. I was blown away at the site of determination of these two individuals! Sure, some accommodations had to be made for them to compete but there was no doubting the "lion hearted" attitude they both possessed. Seeing this was a wake up call for me and the others that were in attendance to never say "I can't." I challenge anyone to give me a better "excuse" than this…
(6pm group hitting it hard!)
Great job to everyone today, you all fought the good fight! I am very proud of you all. It is an amazing thing to see everyone getting PR's on any movement, tonight just happen to be the Push Press. Great job again!!!
