Meet Dusti, one of the Newbies here at World Camp. Dusti has been here about a month now and is making some serious moves! With a background in Power Lifting she understands fully the benefits of being strong as well as Fit. I am very proud of all that she has accomplished in the short time she has been here and I look for her to do some pretty amazing things in the future! Keep up the good hard work Dusti!

Matt has been an active member of World Camp for a while now and is in the best shape of his life! Although he is a Marathon runner, active cyclist and Iron Man, he can no longer be labeled as just an endurance athlete. Matt has been battling through WODs and making strength gains left and right. With this new found strength of his, there is no doubt that he has the ability to stand between us and Mother Nature! Keep up the great work Matt!

Saturday Group

Great job to everyone who showed up this past Saturday! It is always fun to get a bunch of World Campers together, put them on teams of 4 and turn them loose on a workout! It is truly amazing to see how far you have all come in such a short time. Please don’t ever become complacent and always push yourself to be better!

We would like to say a HUGE congratulations to World Camp’s own Sam Widman for completing his very first attempt at a full Marathon. He decided 2 weeks out that he wanted to compete and with only 2 runs under his belt, Sam finished with a time of 3:58 for the 26.2 mi. road race! Great job Sam, we are all very proud of you!!!

Kirk’s “Scaled” 1200m run

In talking with members and the everyday person I meet on the street about World Camp, I have come to the realization that there are many people out there that check this website site out constantly to see what we have going on. They do this without ever stepping foot in the gym and seeing first hand what we are all about.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

With all of this being said, CrossFit is for everyone! We have new people finding their way here every day, so you will not be alone.
